A super big "thanks!" to Jenn who let us know that J.Crew is having another (their 4th!) sample sale in NYC.The sample sale starts Sunday, July 12th and will last until Friday, July 16th. It's unclear if its just Women, or it will include Mens and Crewcuts. Right now, the merchandise will consist of "sample & stock". Usually more information is provided as the date draws near. I am happy to see that the first day of this event is on a Sunday (as most attending will not need to take the day off from work). With that said, I have no intentions of attending this event. The last three sample sales seem to have been a bust. The merchandise was not that spectacular (e.g. limited sizes & quantity; merchandise second rate in some cases) and the prices were higher than expected (e.g. can get a better price waiting for a sale online or in stores with first rate merchandise in one's size).
With that said, I would totally attend the event if I knew the items being sold were at reasonable prices and the merchandise selection was better. ;)
